Cryptocurrencies hit the headlines again and again. More and more companies in industries ranging from technology to airlines are adopting crypto payments. We present some of the largest and most famous companies using and accepting crypto.
In February 2021, Mastercard published an official statement on their official website (source) that explains the giant's approach to digital currencies. Mastercard wants to give its trading partners the tools to make accepting crypto payments fast and secure. As part of loyalty programs, the operator wants to additionally reward active crypto users by assigning them specific sums in crypto.

According to the company, it has processed more than 1,000 bitcoin transactions since it launched the option. The national carrier, LOT Polish Airlines, also followed in its footsteps.
The renowned Sotheby's auction house started to accept cryptocurrency and NFT as payment methods in June 2021.
